Public resources
The public catalog and training guides contain no school records. Opening an external tool is subject to that provider’s policies and your school’s settings.
Staff access
Staff sign-in uses your school Google account. Access is limited to approved accounts. Verified identity bindings and current OneRoster assignments control course information; a selected work area never grants record access.
Read-only school information
SafeEduNJ cannot change Genesis. The administrator analytics dashboard and its separate login have been retired. Existing restricted school continuity copies remain under the school’s retention and recovery controls; retiring the dashboard does not erase those copies.
AI and private information
School records, course details and typed private questions are not sent to external AI. Optional public-topic guidance remains subject to verified privacy, access and budget controls. AI can make mistakes.
Appearance preference
The light/dark switch saves only your chosen appearance in a first-party preference cookie for up to one year. The main and staff websites share this preference. It contains no identity or school information; clearing site cookies resets it to your device theme.
Sessions and support
Staff sessions use secure cookies. Private pages are not cached. Logs exclude school records and credentials. Report an access or privacy concern through the contact page.
