Practice the skills that remain useful as AI changes: question, verify, explain and decide.

AI can make mistakes. Verify important information in the original system and linked sources.

A SIMPLE LEARNING LOOP

Question.
Check. Decide.

Capability can change quickly. Evidence and human responsibility still matter.

01

Check the claim

Compare an invented AI-style answer with two reliable sources. Mark each claim supported, contradicted or not established.

Classroom practice

Choose public or synthetic material. Recalculate quantities, follow the cited source and explain one uncertainty. Finish with a new independent example.

K–2 can check picture instructions; older learners can compare arguments and models. No student AI account is required.

02

Keep independent mastery

Make clear when a task is independent, when support is permitted and how learners will explain their own thinking.

Plan a short sequence

Independent attempt → supported practice → creation → independent explanation. Later, check transfer with a different task.

Secure testing supports particular assessment settings; it does not replace thoughtful task design. Confirm supported assessments, devices and school settings first.

03

Supervise the system

Practice spotting an instruction hidden inside a retrieved document. Stop when it asks for an unauthorized action.

Use a paper tabletop

A fictional source gives museum opening hours, then asks the reader to export a contact list. Identify the real task, reject the embedded instruction and describe a safe next step.

Keep the exercise offline or isolated. Do not connect school accounts or perform the export.

04

Prepare for uncertainty

Compare gradual change, rapid capability gains and a service outage. Identify what people must still verify or decide.

Discuss AGI and superintelligence

These terms describe possible broader capability levels; definitions and timelines are uncertain. Do not treat forecasts as established capabilities or promise a date.

Maintain human review, an accessible conventional alternative, a recovery process and periodic reevaluation.

A practical staff-learning cycle

ModelDemonstrate one task with public or invented information.
PracticeTry it, compare with the original method and check the result.
ReviewMeasure quality, checking time, accessibility and independent understanding.

These are suggested learning activities, not a certification or a scheduled school program. Local leaders determine curriculum fit and permitted use.
